I meant to share with you these pictures a bit ago but I guess I forgot! We went to Art Prize in Grand Rapids again this year where we saw some interesting art & walked around the city. I was actually more impressed with last year's artist entries than this year but one of the coolest things I saw was Cosmo Joe create a work of art in front of my eyes.

Inspired by Bob Ross, Cosmo-Joe seems to create images out of thin air, and much like Ross, his images often represent the familiar things in the world around us—buildings, nature, people. Cosmo adds to those images his own special brand of pizazz and personality.
He creates amazing other worldly, space inspired landscapes with paper & spray paint. He seriously is like Bob Ross because these paintings come from no where! Here are some pictures:
I was front row in the group watching him, prime viewing area! He did this live show (I guess that's what you'd call it!) every 15 or 30 minutes or so. For like everyday of Art Prize (Sept 18 - Oct 6) he did these shows...all day! Talk about exhausting! But it was amazing to watch this 3-5 minute creation. The image came together in no time! It was very cool.
